The Journal of Electron Spectroscopy and Related Phenomena publishes experimental, theoretical and applied work in the field of electron spectroscopy and all subjects relevant to electronic structure. Subject areas covered include: surfaces, interfaces, and thin films; semiconductor physics and chemistry; materials science including: metal surfaces, ceramics, high Tc superconductors, polymers, biomaterials and other organic films; catalysis; solid state physics; atomic and molecular physics; and synchrotron radiation science.

The emphasis of papers is on studies aimed at the molecular (or microscopic) characterisation of particular liquids or liquid systems, especially those aimed at the determination of structure, dynamics and intermolecular forces. Papers will be considered in all three major areas of activity; experimental studies, computer simulations (MD or MC) and analytical theory.

The Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy presents experimental and theoretical articles on all subjects relevant to molecular spectroscopy and its modern applications. An international medium for the publication of some of the most significant research in the field, the Journal of Molecular Spectroscopy is an invaluable resource for astrophysicists, chemists, physicists, engineers, and others involved in molecular spectroscopy research and practice.
