The journal publishes papers in the language of the academic computer user on educational and training system development, using techniques from and applications in any knowledge domain.

Economics of Education Review encourages the development of sound theoretical, empirical and policy research, demonstrating the role of economic analysis in the solution or improved understanding of educational problems and issues. The journal encourages the interaction of ideas and research methods and results between economists and other scholars interested in the economic dimensions of education.

Educational Research Review is a new international Journal aimed at researchers and various agencies interested in review studies in education and instruction at any level. The journal will accept meta-analytic reviews, narrative reviews and best-evidence syntheses.

Publishes articles and research notes reporting basic research in the linguistic description of specialized varieties of English and the application of such research to specific methodological concerns.

Evaluation and Program Planning is based on the principle that the techniques and methods of evaluation and planning transcend the boundaries of specific fields. Articles report individual studies or relate general issues affecting practice.

The Journal of Accounting Education (JAEd) is a refereed journal dedicated to promoting excellence in teaching and stimulating research in accounting education internationally. It provides a forum for exchanging ideas, opinions, and research results among accounting educators in community colleges, four-year colleges and universities and graduate institutions. It has 4 sections: an International Perspectives section: a Main Section (articles); a Teaching and Educational Notes Section; and a Case Section.

AIMS AND SCOPE
The Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology provides a forum for the presentation of conceptual, methodological, policy, and research studies involved in the application of behavioral science research in developmental and life span psychology. The Journal publishes quality papers from an interdisciplinary perspective focusing on a broad array of social issues.

The Journal of Applied Developmental Psychology focuses on two key concepts: human development, which refers to the psychological transformations and modifications that occur during the life cycle and influence an individual's behavior within the social milieu; and application of knowledge, which is derived from investigating variables in the developmental process. Its contributions cover research that deals with traditional life span markets (age, social roles, biological status, environmental variables) and broadens the scopes of study to include variables that promote understanding of psychological processes and their onset and development within the life span. Most importantly, the Journal demonstrates how knowledge gained from research can be applied to policy making and to educational, clinical, and social settings.

AIMS AND SCOPE
The Journal of English for Academic Purposes provides a forum for dissemination of information and views which enables practitioners of and researchers in EAP to keep current with developments in their field and to contribute to its continued updating. JEAP publishes articles, book reviews, conference reports, and academic exchanges in the linguistic, sociolinguistic and psycholinguistic description of English as it occurs in the contexts of academic study and scholarly exchange itself. A wide range of linguistic, applied linguistic and educational topics may be treated from the perspective of English for academic purposes; these include: classroom language, teaching methodology, teacher education, assessment of language, needs analysis; materials development and evaluation, discourse analysis, acquisition studies in EAP contexts, research writing and speaking at all academic levels, the sociopolitics of English in academic uses and language planning.

Learning and Instruction welcomes research papers and review articles on the processes of learning, development, instruction, and teaching from infants to adults representing a variety of theoretical perspectives, and different methodological approaches. Contributions relate to all age levels - from infants to adults - and to a diversity of settings, such as the classroom, vocational training, and environments for special educational needs.

Studies in Educational Evaluation reports on many aspects of educational evaluation including curriculum evaluation, studies of educational systems and organizations, evaluation of teaching/learning strategies and assessment of student performance.

A major multidisciplinary and international journal committed to no single approach, discipline or paradigm, but devoted to all concerned with teaching - the descriptive and analysis of cognitive, affective and behavioural components of teaching, teacher effectiveness, teacher education, thinking and social policy affecting teaching.

AIMS AND SCOPE
The Internet and Higher Education, a quarterly journal designed to reach those faculty, staff and administrators charged with the responsibility of enhancing instructional practices and productivity via the use of Information Technology and the Internet in their respective institutions. Papers outlining innovative deployments of Information Technology (IT) via the Internet and reporting on research designed to gauge the impact of IT and the Internet on instruction in post-secondary education will be published in each issue. An editorial board of distinguished scholars will serve in an advisory capacity to the editors.

AIMS AND SCOPE
The Journal of Academic Librarianship, an international and refereed journal, publishes articles that focus on problems and issues germane to college and university libraries. JAL provides a forum for authors to present research findings and, where applicable, their practical applications and significance; analyze policies, practices, issues, and trends; speculate about the future of academic librarianship; present analytical bibliographic essays and philosophical treatises. JAL also brings to the attention of its readers information about hundreds of new and recently published books in library and information science, management, scholarly communication, and higher education. JAL, in addition, covers management and discipline-based software and information policy developments.

AIMS AND SCOPE
The Journal of Mathematical Behavior exists for two reasons: to assist in efforts to improve the learning and teaching of mathematics, and to help develop a deeper understanding of how people learn and use mathematics. The editor is particularly eager to receive manuscripts on the following topics:

Observational studies that show how students think about mathematics, observational studies showing possibilities for student achievement that are not commonly recognized, observational studies that show potential obstacles to student understanding of mathematics, intervention programs to improve curriculum or pedagogy in mathematics, at any level from early childhood through university study, analyses of appropriate goals for mathematics curricula for various groups of students, analyses of what needs to be changed in curricula or in learning experiences, or what should not be changed, analyses of alternative curricula, questions of how best to describe or analyze what people do when they "do mathematics", reviews of relevant books or programs.

Because the editors believe in the value of dialog and discussion, they are particularly interested in articles that continue, extend, modify or challenge other reports previously published in JMB.
