Publishes full-length original articles, short definitive papers and review articles pertaining to the effective control of virus infections in animals and man as well as in plants or lower organisms.

Bioorganic Chemistry publishes accounts of research that are at the interface of chemistry and biology. The guiding principle that the Editorial Board will follow in accepting manuscripts for publication is that the research either uses the principles and techniques of organic and physical organic chemistry in attempting to solve some problem of relevance to biology or describes chemical studies that are inspired by some biological observation.

Publishes research reports, rapid communications, review articles and commentaries that examine: (a) molecular aspects of cytotoxicity, carcinogenesis, mutagenesis and teratogenesis; (b) molecular mechanisms by which drugs exert their therapeutic or toxic effects.

Part C: Toxicology and Pharmacology of Comparative Biochemistry and Physiology is concerned with drug action at different levels of cellular organization, xenobiotics, carcinogenesis, natural products, endocrinology and message transduction.
