Explorations in Economic History publishes research papers of scholarly merit on a wide range of topics in economic history.
The focus is wide, encompassing all aspects of economic change, all historical times, and all geographical places. Topics of interest
include economic development, income distribution, urbanization, poverty, human resources, macroeconomic policies and regimes, business
enterprise, finance, agriculture, manufacturing, and transportation improvements. Preference is given to the use of quantitative methods
and explicit theoretical analysis, but all approaches to historical inquiry are welcome.
