Acta Psychologica publishes original articles and extended reviews on selected books in any area of experimental psychology. The focus of the Journal is on empirical studies and evaluative review articles that increase the theoretical understanding of human capabilities. The majority of papers deal with human performance, attention, perception, memory, and decision-making but papers concerned with social processes, development, psychopathology, neuroscience or computational modelling are also welcome provided that they are of direct importance to experimental psychologists and are written so as to be understandable to such a readership.

Addictive Behaviors is an international, peer-reviewed scientific journal publishing human research on substance abuse. The Journal focuses on alcohol and drug abuse, smoking, and problems associated with addictions. As of 1995, the Annual Review of Addictions Research and Treatment has been merged into Addictive Behaviors providing greater exchange of ideas and research, and increasing page budgets.

Behavior Therapy is an international journal devoted to the application of behavioral and cognitive sciences to clinical problems. It primarily publishes original research of an experimental/clinical nature which contributes to the theories, practices, and evaluations of behavior therapy, broadly defined.

A principle source of high quality behaviour research papers, Behaviour Research and Therapy (BRAT) reflects and promotes cognitive behaviour therapy for psychological disorders. The scope of BRAT was expanded in 1978 in keeping with the expansion of the subject from behavioural therapy for psychopathological problems to include what was originally termed behavioural medicine. In 1993 the scope was expanded again following the incorporation of the journal Behavioural Assessment and since 1996, with the incorporation of Advances in Behaviour Research and Therapy (ABRAT), invited essays are included in a special review section of the journal. In order to allow for this expansion of content BRAT now publishes 12 issues a year.

A publication containing original scientific papers on the biological aspects of psychological states and processes. Psychological investigations based on biological theories are of interest, as are all aspects, including psychopathology, of psychological functioning.

Clinical Psychology Review publishes substantive and timely reviews on topics germane to clinical psychology. Papers cover diverse issues such as psychopathology, psychotherapy, behavior therapy, behavioral medicine, community mental health, assessment, and child development. The Journal provides the most current and accurate material available in a professional, unbiased way, and maintains the highest scholarly standards.
