Mammalian Biology (formerly Zeitschrift fur Saugetierkunde) is an international scientific journal edited by the Deutsche Gesellschaft fur Saugetierkunde (German Society of Mammalogy). The journal is devoted to the publication of research on mammals.

Publishes original research papers on chemical, physical, and biological interactions in the oceans and coastal waters. The journal serves as a forum for new information on biology, chemistry, and toxicology and syntheses that advance understanding of marine environmental processes.

Publishes results of research in all fields of marine micropaleontology of the ocean basins and continents, including paleoceanography, evolution, ecology and paleoecology, biology and paleobiology, biochronology, paleoclimatology, taphonomy, and the systematic relationships of higher taxa.

Marine Policy is the leading journal of ocean policy studies. It covers: international, regional and national marine policies; institutional arrangements for the management and regulation of marine activities including fisheries and shipping; conflict potentials; marine pollution and environment; conservation and use of marine resources.

Publishes original research and survey papers on the formal theories relevant to the social sciences, such as individual or collective choice and decision, the equilibrium of socio-economic systems, distributive justice, evolutionary models, and so on. The journal emphasizes the unity of mathematical modelling in economics, psychology, political sciences, sociology and other social sciences.
